Fairies Flutter Through Downtown Holly
(Crystal A. Proxmire, May 23, 2018)
Holly, MI- Dozens of children donned fabric wings, tiara crowns, and face paint as they fluttered through Downtown Holly on Saturday for Fairy Day.
Picking up surprises as they went from shop to shop, the youngsters got to feel the magic of imagination while getting to know the merchants of the historic downtown better.
The wings were picked up at the Holly Vault. The tiaras from Holly Hills Primitives. The necklaces from Artichoke Interiors. And a magical fairy wand from Vintage Farmhouse.
Blumz shared lovely flowers, and at Andy’s Place the kids got fairy tattoos.
There were yummy treats as well, including a cupcake to decorate at Cupcakes and Kisses, a sparkly fairy drink at Bittersweet Cafe and popcorn at Holly Antiques.
And at Inspirations Arts and Crafts Workshop, the girls and boys made fairy doors to take home to remember the day. And of course there was a Fairy Day essential – pixie dust, which was picked up at The Little Yellow Dog boutique.
