Superhero Mom by Kasey Lynn
My Mom is my Superhero,
A year ago my mom was diagnosed with stage 3B ovarian cancer. She has completed chemo therapy and has returned to her job as a Registered Nurse in Detroit. Even though her cancer is gone for now it could come back any day. We are constantly living in fear and hoping for the best. I graduate this year and I am so lucky to have her here to see me move on with my life and begin my career.
She has inspired me to become a registered nurse so I can share my kindness with others around me. My mother is the kindest, most giving person and does everything in her power to make everyone happy and make sure everyone is well taken care of. Without her in my life I would honestly be completely lost.  She is my inspiration, my rock and truly is the strongest woman I’ve ever met.
