Royal Oak, Huntington Woods, MI – Spring is a great time to visit the Detroit Zoo at 8450 W. 10 Mile Road in Royal Oak.  There are dozens of animals that call the zoo home, including giraffes, bears, lions, peacocks, frogs, kangaroos and many more.
The Arctic Circle exhibit allows people to walk though an underwater tunnel to see the polar bears and seals that live there.  The Polk Penguin Center is a more recent addition, offering visitors an up close look at a penguin’s paradise.
