Northville Township and Canton Residents Warned of Gunman on the Loose
Northville, MI – According to various reports, Northville and Canton Townships are under a “shelter in place” advisory from police as they search for a man they say shot a woman during a robbery at a Salvation Army store on Joy Road Tuesday night.
The man reportedly shot a woman than fled the scene.
The suspect reportedly stole a vehicle and crashed at Sheldon and Five Mile Road. Police ask residents to stay in their homes and call 911 if they see any suspicious activity. The suspect was seen wearing a green jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt. He is about 50 years of age, 5 foot 10 and approximately 170 lbs.
The victim was taken to an area hospital.
