Holly Village President Jim Perkins Resigns, Council to Fill Vacancy

Holly, MI – Holly Village President Jim Perkins resigned Monday following the death of his father-in-law, citing family reasons.
Village Manager Jerry Walker said that pursuant to the Village Charter the Council must replace the vacant position of President within 30-days of acceptance of Perkin’s resignation, which was Feb. 12.
If the new Village President is a current Council Member then that position must be replaced within 30-days of vacancy to fill the term until the next regular election which is in November.
President Pro-tem Musgrave led the Council meeting Tuesday, and will conduct the State of the Village of Address as part of the State of the Holly Community program on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 7 p.m.
