Valentine’s Day Plans? Check Out White Castle’s Romantic Dinner Tradition
Ferndale, Royal Oak, Pontiac, Southfield, Oak Park, Troy, MI – White Castle will accept reservations starting January 4 for its 25th annual Valentine’s Day dinner Sunday, February 14, from 4 – 9 p.m. The special experience, complete with hostess seating, tableside service and a decadent cuisine of Sliders, Shrimp Nibblers, Strawberry and Cream Waffles and other noteworthy menu items, is a yearly tradition for many couples, friends and families.
“Valentine’s Day has become a fun tradition for us. For many couples, White Castle holds a special place in their hearts. Many have fond memories of first dates here, some even met for the first time at a White Castle – and then there’s the few who shared their wedding vows among friends and family in our dining room,” said Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle. “For a lot of our Cravers, White Castle is where they first met, so enjoying Sliders together on Valentine’s Day brings back a feeling of nostalgia. This is a wonderful event for many of our guests who have shared memorable moments at our restaurants over the years.”
This fun alternative to a traditional dinner has been a popular staple for Cravers across the country. Cravers can share their love of White Castle and make this dinner a memorable moment by inviting family and friends to join them, but reservations are limited so book quickly – calling early is advised. Visit whitecastle.com to find information about the event hours and phone number to call to make reservations.
“Every year, reservations fill up quickly at many locations,” Richardson said. “We encourage Cravers everywhere to contact us as soon as possible to ensure they get a table. Many people don’t realize how popular Valentine’s Day at White Castle is until they experience it for themselves. And love doesn’t stop with Valentine’s Day – we have couples who will actually marry in White Castles later this year.”
White Castle team members encourage those who attend the dinner to take photos and post them to social media, using #whitecastle to share with Cravers located in all White Castle regions and across the globe.
The popular Shrimp Nibblers are returning this year and Cravers have the option to choose between two tasty flavors – Sriracha or Classic. Couples who visit White Castle Valentine’s Day weekend will also be able to choose from four Share A Meals® for just $9.95 each, and top everything off with an order of Strawberry and Cream Waffles with special heart sprinkles.
White Castle also will celebrate its commitment to the community with a fundraiser for the Red Cross Disaster Relief through its Castle Shares initiative from January 31 through February 13. Guests can purchase a Red Cross for $1, $3 or $5 at all White Castle restaurants. One hundred percent of proceeds will go directly to the Red Cross Disaster Relief.
