Sterling Heights Man in Custody after Fatal Shootings in Taylor and Pontiac

Waterford, Pontiac, Taylor, Sterling Heights, MI – Details are being released about a series of shootings Thursday that led to the arrest of a 45-year-old Sterling Heights man.
According to various reports, the first murder took place at a trucking company on Telegraph Road in Taylor where a 45-year old Sterling Heights man fatally shot the manager.
The shooter then stole a semi-truck and went to Aluminum Blanking in Pontiac where he fatally shot another man.
Then the man drove to another business and asked for a man who was not there.
Police then found the suspect and chased him on Dixie Hwy and Frembes where a crash and shoot out took place, and the suspect was wounded by Waterford Police.
Oakand County Sheriff Mike Bouchard told reporters Thursday afternoon that the man was sent to the hospital for surgery and is expected to live.
