Stranger Tries to Give Child
Ride Near Edmonson School in Madison Heights

Madison Heights, MI – At approximately 0830 hours today, a 10 year old female student of Edmonson Elementary was approached by a white male, in a white sedan, who offered her a ride. He then followed the student and she ran to the school.
Suspect: White male, 40 years of age, brown curly hair, beard with no mustache, medium height and build.
Suspect vehicle: Older style white sedan, possibly a Ford, “driveronly.com” was on the driver’s side door, it had damage to the driver’s side rear quarter panel near the brake light.
The Madison Heights Police Department is currently working on the incident. All school districts have been notified and patrol activity has increased around the schools.
