Presentation on Humane Rat
Control Feb. 10 in Royal Oak
Royal Oak, MI – Royal Oak RATS (Residents Are The Solution) is presenting a free family friendly community workshop on how to humanely prevent and control rats.
The presentation is Saturday, Feb. 10 from noon to 3pm at the Senior Community Center 3500 Marais Avenue in Royal Oak.
Free family-friendly community workshop to learn how to humanely prevent and control rats. The station style format allows you to go through at your leisure.
Presentations Include:
Master Trappers – presented by the Ferndale Rat Patrol. Learn how to safely and effectively rid your property of rats without poisons.
Stage Nature Center – Will be on hand with two live red tailed hawks. Learn the role raptors play in rodent control.
Build It and They Will Come – A Birds Eye View LLC will be on hand with owl houses and building tips.
Tool Kit – Learn about items needed to fight rat infestation on your property and how to use them.
For The Birds – LuAnn Linker of Wild Birds Unlimited will show how to feed birds without attracting rats to your yard
Say NO To Poisons – Learn how poisons endanger nature, wildlife, pets and humans.

We’ll even have face painting for the kids and our own owl mascot will be on hand to entertain those of all ages.
This workshop is open to all residents of Royal Oak and surrounding communities.
