Novi Police Investigating Potential Domestic Violence Death
(Novi Police, Jan. 5, 2018)
NOVI, MI – At 5:37 pm on January 4, the Novi Police Department received a call for a welfare check at a home on the 29000 block of Pierre Drive in the Oakland Glens mobile home community. Novi police officers and emergency personnel arrived on the scene within four minutes and upon entry discovered a 32-year-old female on the floor in the home. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A second subject was also found in the home and is considered a person of interest and in police custody. The incident appears to be domestic in nature and there is no threat to the public. The matter remains under investigation by Novi police detectives and Michigan State Police crime scene technicians. An autopsy is being performed this morning by the Oakland County Medical Examiner’s Office. In an effort to protect the integrity of the investigation we are not releasing additional information at this time.
