Como’s Remains Closed,
Auction Set for Equipment Sale
Ferndale, MI – The most recent closure of Como’s Restaurant in Ferndale due to repeated, ongoing health code violations seems to be the last, as the owners are now auctioning off items from the restaurant.
Michigan Restaurant Liquidations and Auctions is hosting the online equipment auction on Thursday, January 4, and a second round on Jan. 11 with items to be picked up on the Friday or Monday from the 22812 Woodward Avenue location in Ferndale.
Bidders have the opportunity to register and participate live, with two items per minute being featured. Items include booths, decorative glassware, cleaning supplies, kitchenware, pizza oven, lighting fixtures and more. The etched glass window with the Como’s name is even available.
There have been rumors of potential businesses looking to purchase the property, which is in a prime location at Woodward and E. Nine Mile, however no announcements have been made. The property itself does not appear to be listed for sale or lease.
Como’s closed most recently in September after an appeal to Oakland County was denied.
