Detroit Together Men’s Chorus Sings of Holiday Love (video)

Ferndale, MI – Since 1982 the Detroit Together Men’s Chorus has has brought together men of all singing abilities and sexual orientations for a four-part chorus that is “committed to strengthening community and providing social change” through music.  The choir has members from all around SE Michigan, northern Ohio and Windsor, Ontario and they have performed across the country.

On Dec. 16 DTMC hosted their annual holiday concert titled “Put a Little Love in your Heart.”  Among the songs were classics like Oh Come All Ye Faithful, Hark the Harold Angels Sing, and Ava Maria.  There was also a a Hanukkah song called One Light. And the show ended with an upbeat sing-along of Put a Little Love In Your Heart.

Director Brian Londrow also recognized Accompanist Elizabeth Wagner for her year’s worth of service to DTMC playing piano at their performances.  Also joining with singers were members of the Ferndale Community Concert Band: Jesse Gibbs on percussion, James Bobcik and Lauren Bobcik on saxophone, Brenda Dittrich on oboe, Dale Gaden on trombone, Markita Moore on trumpet and Benjamin Seranon on flute.
