Ice Sculptures Remain Through Downtown Ferndale

(Crystal A. Proxmire, Dec. 16, 2017)

Ferndale, MI – While the Downtown Ferndale Holiday Ice Festival has passed, the spirit – and the sculptures – remain.  In years past warm weather melted the temporary artworks, but this year nature has cooperated, leaving the 9 Mile and Woodward area with delightful decorations for holiday shoppers to enjoy.

More than 40 ice sculptures can be seen in front of local retail, restaurant and service businesses, and even some in the median by the marquee.  If the weather stays chilly they may still be around for Merry Moonlight Madness on Thursday, Dec. 21 where participating shops stay open late and may even have special deals.
