Suspects Smash Window to Steal from Mobil in Commerce Twp (video)

Commerce Township, MI – INCIDENT: 04:39 hrs. – Commerce Township – Commercial Breaking and Entering –

SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the 3000 block of E. West Maple Rd. (Mobil Gas Station) for a Commercial Burglary Alarm. Upon arrival, Deputies observed that the glass in the front door was shattered and entry had been forced into the business. Deputies checked the interior of the business for any possible suspects. None located.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: The business owner was contacted and responded to the scene. A review of the surveillance video showed suspects (1 male, 2 females) smash the glass in the front door and gain entry into the business. The business owner stated that $3,163 was stolen from the cash registered which had been forced open by the suspects. Also stolen was an unknown amount of cigarette packs taken from a display case located behind the sales counter. The suspects are seen on the surveillance video leaving the area in an dark colored Malibu or Impala which was parked on the side of the business. Latent fingerprints were by an evidence tech obtained and re being processed.
SUSPECT INFORMATION: 1 unknown male / 2 unknown females and 1 unknown driver of the getaway vehicle.
SUSPECT VEHICLE: Chevrolet Malibu or Impala, newer model, dark in color
