Holly Dickens Festival Second Weekend Success
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Dec. 4, 2017)
Holly, MI- The sounds of jingle bells and horse hooves filled the air for those who attended the Holly Dickens Festival last weekend and the one preceding that.
The three-weekend event holds many delights such as a sledding hill (with snow made on site in the midst of warm weather), characters in Charles Dickens era garb, and performances through the days. There are also carriage rides and visits with Santa Claus, as well as plenty of shopping to do at at the unique boutique stores that line Battle Alley and Saginaw Streets.
In it’s 44th year, the Holly Dickens Festival is the longest running Dickens Festival in the nation.
The festival continues Dec. 9 and 10.
Be sure to check out our sponsors if you go: Andy’s Place, Davisburg Bread Company, Holly Antiques, Blumz, Holly, The Holly Vault and Detroit Model Railroad Club!
