Southfield Candidate Interviews 2017

Southfield, MI – Oakland County Times has invited all local candidates seeking office on the Nov. 7, 2017 ballot to do a video interview.  Below are the ones who accepted. Click on the picture to view.

In Southfield, Mayor Ken Siver is unopposed for re-election.

For the position of Clerk there are three people running for one position, which is a four-year term.  Tarita Darden and Derrick F. Hale did interviews. Sherikia L. Hawkins did not.

For Treasurer, Irv. M. Lowenberg is unopposed.

For City Council there are four seats available.  The top three vote-getters will have four year terms, and the fourth highest will get a two year term.

Candidates who did interviews are: Incumbents Lloyd C. Crews and Michael Ari Mandelbaum, as well as Sara Habbo, Harold Hill and Nathaniel Lewis Jr.  Myron Frasider, Coretta Houge and Linnie Taylor did not do interviews.
