2017 Candidate Interview: Charles Gladue for Hazel Park City Council

Hazel Park, MI – Charles E. Gladue is one of six people running for four spots on Hazel Park City Council.  The top two vote-getters will have four year terms and the 3rd and 4th highest vote getters will have two year terms.  Also on the ballot are: Amy Aubry, Anja Barmettler, Bethany Holland, Andy LeCureaux and Alissa Sullivan.

Gladue is a 22 year resident of Hazel Park who has served on the Planning Commission. Zoning Board of Appeals, Tax Review Board, and Historical Commission.  His professional background is in retail management.

When asked how his professional skills would help him in a Council position, Gladue said “A lot of it is listening.  You have to listen to the people that are out there, see what’s bugging them, see what you can do for them is the big thing right there.”
