The top two vote-getters will have four year terms, and the third and fourth highest will have two year terms. Also on the Nov. 7, 2017 ballot are Anja Barmettler, Charles E. In Hazel Park she serves on the Zoning Board and the Hazel Park Arts Council, including as co-chair for the Hazel Park Art Fair.
“I have a lot of passion for my community,” Aubry said. “I moved here. I bought a house here. And I did it on purpose. I did it because I have friends that lived here a long time and I loved coming to their house and hanging out. I moved here because I like this small community, and I love it. And I also think I have a great skill-set that I can bring to residents, to the community, to make it not just Hazel Park – hip, happening Hazel Park, but a much better Hazel Park that will attract even more people to come, move here and call it home like I do.”
