2017 Candidate Interview: Brandon Kolo for Royal Oak Commission (partial)
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Oct. 8, 2017)
Royal Oak, MI – Brandon Anthony Kolo is one of two people vying for a partial term on the Royal Oak City Commission. The term ends 11/25/2019. Randy LeVasseur is also running for the seat.
There are also three full term seats to be voted on.
Kolo works as a project manager and is the owner of an up north ice cream parlor. He volunteers with Royal Oak Schools and serves on the Library Board.
When asked why people should vote for him, Kolo said “I bring a positive attitude to this campaign. My opponent will talk about what’s wrong with the city and how negative it is. I think we’re in a good spot and going in the right direction. My opponent sites his experience in the mortgage industry, but he throws people out of their homes. He evicts people. I want to make sure people continue to stay in Royal Oak. So I hope my vision for the future, my positive vision for the future, is in line with the residents’.
