2017 Candidate Interview:
Sean Campbell for Pleasant Ridge City Commission
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Oct. 1, 2017)
Pleasant Ridge, MI – Sean Campbell is one of four people running for two seats on the Pleasant Ridge City Commission. Also on the ballot are Alex Lenko, Amanda Wahl and incumbent Bret Scott.
Campbell has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lawrence Tech and a law degree from University of Detroit Mercy. He worked as a mechanical engineer before going to General Motors as a government contracts manager.
“I think that my professional experience has helped me develop skills that are very useful to being on the City Commission. And I take this very seriously. I think it’s really important and I’ve tried to be as prepared as I can in getting involved with not just the city government but the school district and some of the other things to understand all of the things that go into decisions that City Commissioners have to make. And I think that combination of skills makes me a great candidate.”
