Learn How to Prepare Taxes as a Small Business Owner at Ferndale Library, Oct 10

FERNDALE, MI –  Lots of folks dream of starting their own business one day, but the hardest part can really come after they’ve achieved that dream–and that’s next year’s tax return! Filing taxes as a newly-established small business owner can be quite daunting. Adjusted Gross Income? Legal Entities? Tax Burdens? LLC??

On Tue., Oct 10, attorney Kathryn Eisenstein gives a presentation at the Ferndale Area District Library that can answer the crucial questions about filing taxes as a small business owner in Michigan. Eisenstein is a certified public accountant; she got her law degree from U-D Mercy (Magna Cum Laude) and works in Troy with Mantese Honigman PC, which specializes in business/commercial litigation.

Many entrepreneurs start with a passion that inspires them to consider going into business. Once they work their way towards their first day of operations, they should already have begun  strategizing about the new tax forms they’ll be filing next April.

Eisenstein will demystify the process and answer any questions. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend; whether you’re just getting started, or if you’re already in business. No registration is required.
