Firefighters Stop Flames in Ferndale Home

Ferndale, MI – Mutual Aid was called for a fire on Kenton in Ferndale Monday evening.
The home on the corner of Kenton and Albany caught fire around 6:40pm and the Ferndale Fire Department was quick to respond.
Hazel Park Fire and Madison Height Fire also came to assist as part of a Mutual Aid Agreement between the communities.
The only visible damage from the outside of the home was charring above the home’s back door.
The scene commander from Ferndale Fire Department stated that the cause of the fire is not yet known, and that there were no known injuries or fatalities.
