Smashed Front Doors and Thefts at Two Troy Restaurants

(Troy Police, July 11, 2017)

Troy, MI – Two restaurants reported Breaking and Entering cases over the weekend.  In both cases the front door glass was broken in order to gain access to the building.  Here are the incident reports:

Mumbai Katta Restaurant, 5114 Rochester Road, 7/6/2017 – 7/7/2017, 8:30 PM – 7:45 PM: Business owner discovered unknown suspect(s) smashed the front door glass with an unknown object to enter the business and steal the cash register.  Owner believes the register contained somewhere between $100 and $200 is miscellaneous currency and she is unable to provide any possible suspect(s).  17-21035

Wing Hing Restaurant, 2918 E. Long Lake Road, 7/8/2017, 12:00 Midnight – 10:00 AM: Business owner discovered unknown suspect(s) smashed the front door glass with an unknown object to enter the business and steal approximately $50 from the cash register.  Owner is unable to provide any possible suspect(s).  17-21180
