(Crystal A. Proxmire, July 11, 2017)
Berkley, MI – Berkley City Councilperson Steve Baker has announced he is running for re-election in the Nov. 7, 2017 election.
At the time of this interview we do not know the complete list of those running, but that will be added once available.
Baker and his wife have lived in Berkley for 20 years, and he has spent the past 15 being involved in the community, including the past eight years as a member of council.
In his interview Baker talked about three of the things he sees as successes in the city: (1) improved communication and engagement with citizens, (2) balanced budgets and (3) advances in staffing for city department heads.
