Art Experience Raising Money for Youth Programming in Pontiac

PONTIAC, MI., – The Art Experience, Inc. (TAE) announces their first crowdfunding campaign, raising money to help support their youth programming initiative, Community Art Lab.

Community Art Lab, an all-inclusive art studio program, delivers art in classrooms without the resources to do so themselves. This education is essential to the academic  and social success of students, and leads to their ultimate achievement as professional adults.

With the reduction of arts education in schools, and the minimization of the arts in society as a whole, TAE aims to place artists, art therapists and art educators in Pontiac elementary and high schools. Reaching their campaign goal of $8,000 would support facilitator stipends as well as costs associated with a variety of materials for an entire school year.

The Art Experience studio is located at 175 South Saginaw St. Pontiac, Mich 48342. Serving as an affordable, inclusive community art studio, TAE is actively fundraising to underwrite organizations that treat at-risk youth through multiple, engaging and impactful opportunities delivered to adolescents with the desire to paint, draw and create.
