Two Lanes of WB I-696 to Remain Closed for Repair After Fire

Royal Oak, MI – The Michigan Department of Transportation has issued a travel advisory impacting the Royal Oak area, stating:

“WB 696 from 75 to Woodward, the left lane remains closed till end of the week for concrete repair from Monday’s truck fire. Repairs will begin about noon today, Tuesday, and will block the two left lanes for approximately three days.

EB 696 may have the left lane closed from Woodward to I-75 for repairs on the median wall.

Please remember to stay alert to work zones and crews working next to live traffic.
