Timeline For Ferndale Schools Superintendent Search & Hiring

Ferndale, MI – Ferndale Schools is in the search process for a new Superintendent.  There are opportunities for the public to be involved in the process.

Here is the timeline:

Superintendent Search

FERNDALE SCHOOLS SUPERINTENDENT  APPLICATION DEADLINE MONDAY, MAY 1 5TH

BOARD WORKSHOP: INTERVIEW PREPARATION MONDAY, MAY 22ND 6:00 PM FHS Conference room 881 Pinecrest, Ferndale, MI 48220 Dr. Davis will lead the Board through a screening of applications and  selection of interview questions.

INITIAL INTERVIEWS TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY, MAY 30TH – 31ST 6:00 PM  FHS Media Center 881 Pinecrest, Ferndale MI 48220 The Board will interview the first round candidates and select their finalists.

FINAL INTERVIEWS THURSDAY – SATURDAY, JUNE 1ST – 3RD The Board will host the final candidates for a tour of Ferndale Schools  culminating with a visit to June Fair. The final interviews will take place  on Saturday, June 3rd.

SITE VISIT TO CANDIDATE’S DISTRICT TUESDAY – FRIDAY, JUNE 6TH – 9TH The Board will set up a visit with the final Candidate’s district for a visit during this time period.

SELECTION OF SUPERINTENDENT MONDAY, JUNE 12TH 6:00 PM FHS Media Center 881 Pinecrest, Ferndale, MI 48220 The Board will meet to vote and select our next Superintendent.
