Gun Pointed at Clarkston Jr. High Students, Police Seek Tips

Independence Twp, MI – Approximately 3pm near Clarkston Junior High School – Felonious  Assault – While two 12 year olds were walking home from Clarkston Junior High,  in the area of Paramus Street, 4 unknown white males pointed a black and silver  handgun at the students from within this tan sedan and shouted towards them.

As  the kids ran home, one of the mothers was able to take a quick photograph of the  vehicle.

UPDATE: A notice from the school district was sent to parents at about 6pm, stating “Late this afternoon (Friday, April 28), the district was alerted of an incident that occurred on Paramus Street, in a neighborhood near RHS/CJHS/Clarkston Elementary. A car with several high school-aged individuals approached some students from CJHS, brandished a weapon, and then sped away.  The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident and talking to witnesses. They have asked that no additional details be shared as they attempt to locate the vehicle and those responsible.  We appreciate your understanding, and the district will continue to work with law enforcement as the investigation continues.”
