Three Year Old Missing from Holly Twp.

Holly Twp, MI -0n April 2, 2017 at approximately 4:00 am, Metro North troopers assigned to the Groveland Detachment received information regarding a missing 3 year old female from Holly Twp., MI. Investigators have reason to believe the missing child is currently with her father after he failed to return her to her mother. Detectives from MSP and other local and county law enforcement agencies are actively investigating this incident in order to safely return the child to her mother. A Missing Endangered Alert has been issued for the missing child, stating:
Vadalynn Mayjean Owings was last seen in the 400 block of Crescent Ave. in Holly at 3:00 a.m. Sunday.
Owings was taken by her father, Brent Alan Owings.
Vadalynn is 2’6″ and weighs about 30 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. It is not known what she was wearing.
Brent Owings is 26-years-old. He is 5’11” and weighs about 155 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in Holly Township.
They are believed to be travelling in a blue 2012 Dodge Journey with Michigan License Plate DCJ4093.
