Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce Seeking New Director

Ferndale, MI – The Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for a new Executive Director.  Kimi Arnold Hart put in her resignation letter but will staying with the organization through the search process and transition period, according the Chamber Board President Jerome Raska.  “She is leaving due to personal and family reasons,” Raska said.  “We are accepting applications through March 20 and we hope to have the new Director starting soon to prepare for all of the events we have coming up in the spring and summer.”

The Executive Director position pays between $50,000-$60,000 per year based on experience, and the work includes working with boards and committees, collaborating with other organizations, planning events, membership recruitment and retention, financial oversight, marketing and communications, and leadership and supervision.
