15 #BookFaceFriday Pictures from Ferndale Library

(Crystal A. Proxmire, Feb. 24, 2017)

Ferndale, MI – A social media trend that’s catching on among libraries is #BookFaceFriday . Staff and patrons find book covers with incomplete faces or bodies, then pose with the books to complete the picture. The Ferndale Area District Library, Blair Memorial Library in Clawson and Berkley Public Library have been sharing pictures on Fridays to fit the them.

“Book Face Friday is a fun way to interact with our community,” said Ferndale’s Interim Director Darlene Hellenberg. “It gives us a chance to post something fun on our social media and it’s a great way to highlight a variety of books. It’s just a fun and creative way to lighten up everyone’s news feed. It’s really fun picking out the right book, getting the pose just right, and seeing the results.”

Fifteen of the best are below. Check out the FADL on Facebook for more #FacebookFriday fun and other library happenings: https://www.facebook.com/FerndalePublicLibrary/
