(Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County)

Pontiac, MI –  Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County has assumed ownership of two ReStore locations – home improvement outlets – in Farmington and Pontiac, which sell furniture, cabinets, appliances, paint and other such home improvement supplies.   All proceeds from ReStores of Oakland County now will directly benefit Habitat Oakland County’s mission within the county.

ReStore Pontiac’s Grand Re-Opening will be held:

Friday, December 9th

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Noon

150 Osmun St., Pontiac

In addition, home and business owners can schedule pickups online for their large ReStore of Oakland County donations.  For easy scheduling, log onto and schedule a pick-up date best for you.

ReStore Pontiac is currently open to the public each week Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Also “If residents and businesses in Oakland County can choose our ReStore Pontiac to donate their furniture and appliances when they replace or remodel we would have enough inventory to meet the needs of our consumers,” says Frank Kessler, ReStores of Oakland County Manager.  “Retailers, distributors and manufacturers closing out year-end or discontinued product, scratch n dent or returned product — please consider donating your products to ReStore Pontiac and you’ll receive a tax receipt donation. Please call Jackie at 248-365-4090.”

Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County is a non-profit organization that works with local families to achieve strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. Since 1996, Habitat Oakland County has built and renovated homes in partnership with 200 families, with 62 more taking place this year. Donate, volunteer or learn more at
