Re-Stores Opening in Pontiac
and Farmington to benefit Habitat for Humanity

Pontiac, MI – Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County has assumed ownership of two ReStore locations – home improvement outlets – in Farmington and Pontiac, which sell furniture, cabinets, appliances, paint and other such home improvement supplies. All proceeds from ReStores of Oakland County now will directly benefit Habitat Oakland County’s mission within the county.

In addition, home and business owners can schedule pickups online for their large ReStore of Oakland County donations. For easy scheduling, log onto www.habitatoakland.org/restore and schedule a pick-up date best for you.
ReStore Pontiac is currently open to the public each week Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Also “If residents and businesses in Oakland County can choose our ReStore Pontiac to donate their furniture and appliances when they replace or remodel we would have enough inventory to meet the needs of our consumers,” says Frank Kessler, ReStores of Oakland County Manager. “Retailers, distributors and manufacturers closing out year-end or discontinued product, scratch n dent or returned product — please consider donating your products to ReStore Pontiac and you’ll receive a tax receipt donation. Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County is a non-profit organization that works with local families to achieve strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.
