Farmington Hills, MI –State Representative Christine Greig of the 37th District is up for re-election on the Nov. 8, 2016 ballot.  She is being challenged by Republican Mitch Swoboda and Libertarian James K. Young for the seat.  The 37th District includes Farmington and Farmington Hills.

When asked why people should vote for her, State Rep. Greig said “I think I’ve proven myself to be very trustworthy and a very very hard worker, someone who is thoughtful and takes his job very seriously.  It’s a lot of work, you put in a lot of hours, meet a lot of different people, hear a lot of different stories.  And you need someone that’s very thoughtful and warm to just to understand where people are coming from. It’s a pretty complicated world out there.

In her interview with oc115, Creig talked about her experiences as a small business owner and an active parent in the Farmington Schools.  She talked about the challenges of being a State Rep and the successes, including two bipartisan bills that she was a co-sponsor on. She also talked about how much she enjoys representing a district that is beautiful and diverse.
