Bloomfield Township, MI – Over the past week, Bloomfield Township took four reports of Larceny from automobiles.  In all of the cases, personal items were taken from unlocked cars. The thefts were committed in the following areas at the following times:

  1. Between 9:00 PM on September 24 and 8:00 AM on September 25, in the 2600 block of Endsleigh Dr., a laptop computer, a camera, and luggage were taken from an unlocked car in the driveway.
  1. Between 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM on September 23 at the Starbucks at 3584 W. Maple, several baseball tickets and vouchers were taken from an unlocked car in the parking lot.
  1. Between 8:00 PM on Sept. 24 and 7:00 AM on Sept 25, a laptop was taken from an unlocked car in the driveway of a residence in the 3700 block of Wedgewood.
  1. During the overnight hours between Sept. 24 and Sept. 25, a laptop computer was taken garden16_Kim_Stanley_Septfrom an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a residence in the 7100 block of Parkhurst.

All of these cases are being investigated and there are no suspects. The Bloomfield Township Police are asking anyone with information about these incidents to call (248) 433-7755.   In addition, we are reminding residents to remove all valuable items from their vehicles and always lock their car doors.
