Conversation on Race Aug 8
(Event Page)
Ferndale, MI – You are invited to come to the 2nd public community conversations about race and conflict resolution hosted by the Ferndale Rotary Club.
As a service organization, we want to do more than comment on Facebook posts, attend vigils or go to protest marches. We want to help change the conversation and start to change attitudes and beliefs around race and conflict.
Our 2nd community conversation is Monday, August 8th at Twisted Tavern in Ferndale. Come for casual conversation and happy hour at 5:30. We will promptly start at 6:30pm and conclude the meeting at 7:30pm. Twisted Tavern is located at 22901 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, Michigan 48220
We are invitng Ferndale area business, civic and community leaders to help us start the process of learning from each other how we can lead the change in our community.
This is not a political or protest gathering. Rotary is about building goodwill and better relationships.
Please come with an open mind, and an open heart and willingness to help make Ferndale an even better place to live and work.
