Beat Concert Series in Southfield 7/14, 8/11 and 9/8

(SOUTHFIELD, Mich.) – The city of Southfield, in partnership with the City Centre Advisory Board, has expanded the Eat to the Beat lunchtime food truck & concert series to include Eat to the Beat After Hours on Thursday, July 14 from 12 noon–2 p.m. and continuing from 4–7 p.m. at the City Centre Plaza located on Central Park Boulevard, one block west of Evergreen between Civic Center Drive and 11 Mile Road.
Each event will feature a different theme and eclectic musical lineup of artists and genres, including:
July 14 (Theme: Pre-game) featuring NextGen from 12-2 p.m. and DJ Billeebob from 4-7 p.m.
August 11 (Theme: Woodward Tune-up) featuring Cancel Monday from 12-2 p.m. and The Paisley Fogg from 4-7 p.m.
September 8 (Theme: Homecoming) featuring from The Randy Brock Group from 12-2 p.m. and The Foster Brooks Band from 4-7 p.m.
All of the Eat to the Beat concerts will feature a variety of food trucks, including Bigalora, Fuddruckers, The Pita Post, Tacos Piny, NuDeli and Cool Jack’s. The Eat to the Beat After Hours events will include fine wines and craft beer for sale to continue the fun into the evening. All events will offer fun games and activities for the whole family, an exciting mix of live bands and DJs, and free admission and parking.
