Berkley Library Announces New Hours

BERKLEY, MI – The Berkley Public Library now has new hours!
Monday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The hours will be consistent throughout the year and will not change between seasons. The library will now be open for an extra evening of service on Thursday and will be open on Saturdays throughout the year from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“We’re really excited to provide a greater range of hours to the public so the library can be used by more people. We’re already scheduling programs and events to take advantage of the change in hours. We aimed to keep consistent opening times and have the same schedule throughout the year,” said Matt Church, Library Director.
The changes were made after receiving feedback from the public and by conducting a survey to explore wants and needs of the community.
