SMART Bus with Flames on Side has Fire on Woodward

Huntington Woods, MI – A fire on a bus this morning backed up traffic on SB Woodward at 11 Mile Road around 8 am.  According to Huntington Woods City Manager Amy Sullivan, the bus had a mechanical issue that resulted in a fire.  The fire was quickly extinguished and traffic flow returned to normal. There were no injuries.  The SMART bus was decorated with flames on the side.
