Foundations Detroit Opens

Royal Oak, MI – The Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce welcomed Foundations Detroit to the Royal Oak community in a special Grand Opening celebration which took place on Thursday, May 19 at 117 W. Third Street, Royal Oak.
In addition to the Ribbon Cutting event, the Grand Opening of Foundations Detroit included a full afternoon of educational sessions and a special reception featuring live jazz and hors d’oeuvres from JB Baldwin. Tours of the newly renovated space were given throughout the evening.
Royal Oak Chamber President Jason Gittinger welcomed the organization to the community and the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce, wishing them well on their newest venture. City Commissioner Shar Douglas was also on hand to welcome this new treatment-focused organization to the community. Then George Miller from the Oakland County Executive Office presented Foundations Detroit Director Stephen Wiland with a County Executive Proclamation from L. Brooks Patterson’s office, honoring their business venture into Oakland County.
