Waterford Man Charged with B&E at Airway Lanes

Waterford, MI -On 5/18/16 Jason Adam Bachman, 27 years old from Waterford was arraigned in front of the honorable Judge Kuhn for the December 24, 2015 Breaking and Entering of the Airway Lanes Bowling Alley. Bachman is charged with one count of Breaking & Entering – A Building with Intent, 10 year Felony. Bond was set at $25,000.
The Waterford Police Department would like to thank the public and the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office for the apprehension of Bachman. After receiving several tips from the public, Bachman was identified and taken into custody without incident by the OCSO – Fugitive Apprehension Team. Bachman is due back in court on May 31, 2016 for a Probable Cause Hearing.

On 12/25/2015 at 12:30 pm, Waterford Officers responded to Airway Lanes Bowling Alley located at 4825 Highland for a Breaking and Entering (B&E) complaint.
Arriving Officers spoke with Airway Lanes staff who told Officers an unknown suspect had gained entry to the building through a broken window on the south side of the building at approximately 7:30 pm on 12/24/15. Once inside, video footage from the business shows the suspect attempted to break into several cash registers located throughout the business, damaging all of them in addition to several other machines. The suspect was not able to locate any money and is seen leaving the business with a “Red Bull” novelty dorm size refrigerator and a flat screen television that was brand new in the box.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years of age, 5’08 to 5’10 with a bald head, wearing a blue jacket and hoodie.
