Attempting to Locate Hit and Run Suspect

Farmington Hills, MI – The Farmington Hills Police Department is investigating an incident that resulted in critical injuries to a pedestrian. The incident occurred in the area of eastbound Grand River Ave. north of Eight Mile Road on April 23, 2016, at approximately 5:20 AM. Preliminary investigation and witness statements indicate that the victim, a 22-year-old female resident of Detroit, was run over by a vehicle. The victim was transported to Beaumont Hospital Farmington Hills where she is in critical condition.
The vehicle involved is described as a newer model red or maroon Chrysler Town and Country that continued eastbound on Grand River Ave. The vehicle does not have a metal registration plate and has a temporary registration plate in the back window.
The Farmington Hills Police Department is attempting to locate the following subject:
Terrel Dewhite Johnson, a 24-year-old black male resident of Romulus
6’0”, 150 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes
Johnson is known to frequent the southwest area of Detroit.
