Bloomfield Twp Police Say Naked Man Broke Into Home, Damaged Property

Bloomfield Township, MI – On April 10th at 3:00pm Officers were dispatched to a home in the 4000 block of Echo on a home invasion report. Officers found a nude male inside the residence moving furniture around. The male identified as 53 year old Daniel Elliot of Rochester Hills, is a former family member of the resident. Elliot gained entry into the home while the family was on vacation. While inside the residence, Elliot caused extensive damage to the interior. It appeared he had been at the house for a significant amount of time. Furniture was turned over and damaged, china was smashed, doors were broken, and several faucets were broke, causing the rooms to flood. A rough estimate of the damage is over $50,000. Bloomfield Township police arrested Elliot at the scene. He was arraigned on April 20th on charges of 2nd Degree Home Invasion and Malicious destruction of Property. He was given a $50,000 bond and was lodged at the Oakland County Jail.
