Nominate a Student or Group for Ferndale Youth Assistance Award
(FYA, March 27, 2016)
Ferndale, MI –  Ferndale Youth Assistance will be holding their Jack and Annette Aronson 2016 Youth Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.  We are looking for nominations for students to receive these awards!
Please read over the attached criteria and nominate any student that attends Ferndale Schools or lives within the Ferndale School District (they do not need to attend Ferndale Schools for this award) that you feel deserves this award!
You can nominate anybody that you would like.  Parents, feel free to nominate your children.  Students feel free to nominate yourselves if you feel you deserve this award!
Criteria for Individual Recognition: Nominating a deserving youth for their  ongoing volunteerism, school or community service project, personal acts   of heroism or someone who has overcome adversity in spite of personal   hardship.
Criteria for Group Recognition: Nominating a deserving group of youth for   ongoing volunteerism or school or community service projects,   beautification activities, church/youth programs.
Criteria of Youth efforts that will NOT be eligible for the Youth Recognition:  award may include: athletic award, honor roll, attendance, students performing paid or mandated community services, teacher or instructor assignments.  We would like for the nominator to be detailed when nominating a youth or group   for their efforts.  We also ask that you take special care when composing your remarks as some of the information can be sensitive in nature.  FYA reserves editing rights to all nominations.

Ferndale Youth Assistance works to strengthen families through community involvement.  We offer counseling, including preventative counseling, emergency needs funding, camp and extra curricular activities scholarships as well as host events and fundraisers for the families of the Ferndale School District throughout the year.
