FERNDALE, MI – It’ll be time for spring cleaning before you know it, and the Ferndale Library has a program perfect for grand de-cluttering and an overall refreshing surge of serenity. Creating A Sacred Space can help attendants add a bit of much needed peace to their lives, while also showing them how to de-clutter their living spaces and clear some runway for a re-booting of the soul.

Join Heatherleigh Navarre as she walks us through the process of creating a “sacred space” in MBREW draft oneour home or office. Whether you use it for meditation, reading, writing, or simple quiet reflection, a sacred space can be as small as a tabletop altar honoring your ancestors, or can be an entire room. Either way, you can make it beautiful, meaningful, and an effective tool for spiritual growth. Come to the library Mar 29 and find out how.

Virginia Woolf wrote of the importance of “A Room of One’s Own”, and Joseph Campbell wrote, “You must have a room or a certain hour of the day or so where you do not know what is in the morning paper. A place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be. At first you may think nothing’s happening. But if you have a sacred space and take advantage of it and use it everyday, something will happen.”

Find your own sacred space and start finding out more about yourself.
