Sheriff Dept. Seeks Information on Murder of 53 Year Old Woman

Pontiac, MI – On Sunday, March 6th, 2016, shortly after 12PM, Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 90 Block of Putnam in the City of Pontiac for a report of an unresponsive female.
After Deputies arrived, they observed a 53 year old female lying on the bedroom floor of the residence obviously deceased. The victim has been identified as Jacqueline Shelton, a resident of the City of Pontiac.
An autopsy conducted today by the Oakland County Medical Examiner’s Office indicated Shelton suffered blunt force trauma and has ruled the victim’s death a homicide. Sheriff’s Office Detectives from the Pontiac Substation are continuing their investigation of this incident.
