Hazel Park on the Rise as Mayor Parisi Gives State of the City Address

Hazel Park, MI – Hazel Park Mayor Jan Parisi and Madison Heights Mayor Brian Hartwell gave residents and business owners an early morning glimpse at life in their respective cities. The State of the Cities’ Address is an annual event hosted by the Madison-Park Chamber of Commerce, with this year’s being at the Hazel Park Community Center.
Mayor Parisi shared some of the city’s successes, including the opening of Mabel Gray and Cellerman’s, the booming arts culture, collaborative spirit and new leadership of the school district, major industrial developments and innovative ways the city is working to raise property values.
