waterworkTOP_whitePublic Hearing on Motoramared door club ad Business License Appeal March 1
Ferndale, MI – Ferndale City Council is set to hear the appeal from Motorama Motel’s business license on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 5:30pm at Ferndale City Hall 300 E. 9 Mile Road.
The meeting is open to the public and there will be time for public comment.  The motel’s attorney is expected to attend and give reasons why they should be able to remain in business.
Ferndale City Council voted to deny renewing the license after reviewing the frequency that police action needed at the business to address crime, drug overdoses and other Judy_Palmer30yearsissues. Additionally the motel has numerous code violations including lack of smoke detectors, unsafe gaps in doors, fire damage that has been left unaddressed, storage issues and more.
