Pantry is Low: Lighthouse of Oakland County seeks Donations

Clarkston, MI – Did you know… Lighthouse’s Food Pantry is the only food pantry in Oakland County that is open 5 days a week and services all of Oakland County? Each month – an average of 850 families, more than 1,400 individuals, of whom 40% are children – come to Lighthouse hungry and in need of food assistance.
This photo of the pantry was taken this week. Because the pantry is open 5 days a week, food is being distributed to hungry families as soon as it comes through our doors.
Lighthouse is in need of any and all non-perishable food donations at our Pontiac & Clarkston locations.
The most currently needed items today are: Spaghetti pasta, Pasta sauce, Corn, Green vegetables, Soup, Cereal, Mac & cheese and canned meat.
