Girlfriend of Royal Oak Murder Suspect Testifies About Shooting

Royal Oak, MI – What happened on Oct. 26, 2015 in the house on Fern Street in Royal Oak where 28-year-old Kenith Tyran Walter was fatally shot?
One version of events came out Thursday when the suspect’s girlfriend testified.  Misty Williams, who had been living with Kirk David Leach and his sister at the time, talked about a disagreement the men had.
Walter was Leach’s sister’s boyfriend.  Williams testified she did not see the shooting, but saw Walter on the ground saying “you shot me.” She also heard multiple shots and was with Leach when he disposed of the gun.  She  led police to the weapon after Leach was arrested.
