Troy Police Offer Advice to 
Public about Coyotes

Troy, MI – The Troy Police Department recommends that citizens experiencing problems with coyotes contact a licensed nuisance company. The typical cost associated with this service ranges from $300 to $750. The following companies are licensed and handle coyote nuisance issues in the area:

Landowners wishing to remove coyotes from their property may obtain services from the listed companies or any other licensed nuisance animal control company. A list of additional licensed nuisance control companies can be found at www.michigan.gov/wildlife.
If a coyote presents an immediate danger, the resident should contact the Troy Police Department by calling 911.
